What We Do

Blood Donation Drives

Blood Donation Drives

Organising Blood Donation Drives in the neighbourhood, to help patients in need of blood transfusion during their treatment

2018 NACO study estimated that 14.6 million units of blood were required to address the demand that arose in healthcare facilities across the country, while the the actual supply was found to be 13.5 million units of blood. The study also indicated that while the actual blood donation rate was about 26.2 per 1000 eligible population, the required blood donation rate was about 34.3. As blood cannot be synthesised artificially in a laboratory, the only viable option to arrange for blood is by blood donation & transfusion.

Charisma Society organises blood donation camps periodically, to support patients who require blood transfusion as a part of their treatment. Over the past 15 years, we have been able to collected over 650 units of bloods, with the help of our kind donors. And we are glad that our donors’ list in increasing steadily.

Awareness Camps

Awareness Campaigns

Awareness is the first step to solving any problem. We organise Health Awareness Camps to educate people about healthy living habits

We actively work in our neighbourhood to spread awareness about healthy living habits. These awareness camps conducted by qualified professionals, help proving the correct information to the participants and also gives them an opportunity to get their doubts and queries resolved.

Good physical and mental health is very critical to ensure that people at large are able to contribute positively to the society. With our hectic lives and busy schedules, it is always good to take a break once in a while and brush-up our basics about leading a healthy life.

With the proliferation of digital media, video-conferencing  and webinars, we excited to take our outreach activities to the next level, using these IT-enabled platforms.
